I’m one of those guys who watch Louis Rossmann videos and support “Right to Repair”.

I've been opening electronics since early childhood, just for fun and to see things working. Now, I do that as a hobby, and most of the time, I open my gadgets to clean (using iFixit guides, of course.)! Enthusiast of vintage computing, I still own:

  • Early 2000s Compaq Presario 5000 LA (Celeron 766 MHz);
  • Mid-2010 MacBook White (A1342 - Core 2Duo 2.4 GHz);
  • A 2005 HP Compaq NX6105 laptop (AMD Semprom 1.8GHz).

That old Compaq Presario 5000LA!

Apart from that, I try to keep some old HiFi Stereos, a Sega Saturn console, and two Xboxes: 360 E/One fat.

Newer computers I own:

  • Dell Optiplex 7070 SFF (i7 9th generation);
  • Dell G15 5525 (Ryzen 7 6800H);
  • MacBook Pro (A2779 - M2 Pro).

I’m trying to gather enough confidence to open my two 7th-generation iPod Classic.

EDIT: I've managed to open the two iPods. One is great, but I've killed the other one due to excessive force on a ZIF connector lol.
