Nvidia Shield TV Remote

The Shield Remote is the bundled remote control for both of NVIDIA's current Shield TV streaming box offerings (TV and TV Pro). Its features include: motion-activation, backlit buttons, integreated mic for voice search and control, Bluetooth connectivity, IR for TV control, and a built-in lost remote locator. For those who need to replace their Shield remotes, it can also be purchased separately for $30 USD.

Though identical in function, there exist two types/versions. You can indetify which you have by looking at the Home button.

Type 1 will have a Home button that is a non-filled circle.

Type 2 has a Home button where the circle is filled in.
