How can I participate?/Wie kann ich teilnehmen?
You need an OSM account to sign up. Go to osmcal.org, log in and click on “attend”. You are also welcome to come by without signing up. Please note, however, that we will ask for your name and/or OSM account at the entrance and enter it in a list. For security reasons, we keep a record of who is present so that we can provide correct information to emergency services in the unlikely event of an emergency.
Für eine Anmeldung benötigst du einen OSM-Account. Gehe zu osmcal.org, logge dich ein und klicke auf "attend". Du kannst auch sehr gerne ohne Anmeldung vorbeikommen. Beachte aber, dass wir am Eingang deinen Namen und/oder deinen OSM-Account abfragen werden und in eine Liste eintragen. Zur Sicherheit halten wir fest, wer anwesend ist, damit wir im unwahrscheinlichen Fall eines Notfalls korrekte Angaben gegenüber Einsatzkräften machen können.
What is planned?/Was ist geplant?
Bring your own ideas or your to-do-list and work or discuss with other people. There are no requirements, it helps if you bring your own computer.
Interessierte OpenStreetMapler, Programmierer sowie fortgeschrittene Anwender als auch Einsteiger können im Team ihre eigenen Ideen umsetzen. In Gemeinschaft diskutiert es sich einfacher, Fragen werden direkt beantwortet und es ist auch schnell Code getippt. Voraussetzungen gibt es keine um zum Treffen zu kommen, jedoch bringt in der Regel jeder einen eigenen Computer mit.

Räumlichkeiten
The event location provides us with kitchen, toilet, rooms with desks and chairs, beamer, white board. We will also have network and power cable, power extensions, network switches. The internet connection will be provided via wifi or cable.
Die Räumlichkeiten haben eine Küche, Toiletten, große Räume mit Tischen und Stühlen, Beamer, Whiteboard. Wir werden auch Netzwerkkabel, Stromkabel, Steckdosenleisten und Switches vor Ort haben. Internet gibt es per WLAN oder Kabel.
Food and drink/Essen und Trinken
We will organize snacks and beverages. Saturday and Sunday we'll have pizza delivered. At the social event on Saturday evening everyone pays the own bill.
Es werden Getränke und Snacks zur Verfügung gestellen. Am Samstag und Sonntag lassen wir uns Pizza oder ähnliches liefern. Beim Social Event am Samstagabend zahlt jeder seine Rechnung selbst.
Accommodation/Übernachtung
You can also organize your accommodation yourself. You can use the search engine at berlin.de to find a suitable accommodation. Ihr könnt Euch auch selbst um die Übernachtung kümmern. Die Hotelsuche auf berlin.de findet vielzählige Angebote.

Public Transport/ÖPNV
It is easy to use public transport in Berlin. There are three zones A,B,C, the event location is in zone A. If you are comming by train to Berlin and your DB ticket has "Berlin+City" as destination, you can use your train ticket within zone A (tram, S-Bahn, U-Bahn and bus). If your DB ticket has "BERLIN" (uppercase) as destination, it allows you to go to any S-Bahn station in zone A, but only by S-Bahn. Otherwise you will need an AB ticket. It depends on how often you will use the public transport, available are single tickets, day tickets or a pack of 4 single tickets ("4-Fahrten-Karte"). With a ticket you can use tram, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, bus and ferries.
- S-Bahn: S Anhalter Bahnhof (S2, S25, S26) + 750m by foot
- U-Bahn: U Möckernbrücke (U1, U7), U Gleisdreieck (U1, U3)
Nahverkehr in Berlin ist einfach. Es gibt drei Zonen A,B,C, der Veranstaltungsort liegt in Zone A. Bahnreisende, auf deren Fahrschein als Zielbahnhof "Berlin+City" steht, dürfen mit ihrer Fahrkarte auch für die Zone A (Straßenbahn, S-Bahn, U-Bahn und Bus) befahren. Wenn stattdessen nur "BERLIN" in Großbuchstaben als Ziel angegeben ist, darf man mit der DB-Fahrkarte bis zu einer beliebigen S-Bahn-Station in Zone A fahren, aber nur mit der S-Bahn. Sonst muss man ein AB-Ticket kaufen. Es gibt Einfahrtenkarten, Tageskarten und 4-Fahrten-Karten. Genutzt werden können damit Straßenbahn, S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Bus, Fähren.

Schedule/Zeitplan
We can meet already Friday at a pub. Please mark in the table below if you want to join. We have our regular meetup at 6pm, see Berlin/Stammtisch
Am Freitag treffen wir uns in einem Lokal. Bitte sagt Bescheid ob ihr dabei sein möchtet. Wir haben unseren Regulären Stammtisch um 18 Uhr, siehe Berlin/Stammtisch

Closing time is scheduled for about 6 pm.
Costs / Kosten
During the event there will be drinks, snacks and lunch (pizza). At the Saturday evening event, everyone pays for their own food and drinks.
Während der Veranstaltung gibt es Getränke, Snacks und Mittag (Pizza). Bei der Abendveranstaltung am Samstag trägt jeder seine Kosten für Speisen und Getränke selbst.

Please sign-up at osmcal.org. Sign-up is not binding, but it is a great help with planning. Especially when planning the pizza order and the social event on Saturday evening. Registration is not mandatory - but it helps a lot with planning. If you don't register, there may not be enough pizza or you may not get a place at the social event.
Tragt Euch bitte in osmcal.org ein. Die Anmeldung ist nicht verbindlich, ist aber eine große Hilfe bei der Planung. Insbesondere bei der Planung für die Pizza-Bestellung und das Social-Event am Samstagabend. Die Anmeldung ist nicht verpflichtend – aber sie hilft sehr bei der Planung. Wenn du dich nicht anmeldest, kann es sein, dass nicht genug Pizza da ist oder du keinen Platz beim Social-Event bekommst.
