The key =* is used to indicate if the service on a public transport route runs during day- and/or nighttime. See also the more common tag opening_hours=* for describing the hours of operation of a public transport route.
Common values
=only– the service runs at night only=yes– the service runs at night, but not necessarily only at night (e.g. 24/7 service)=no– the service does not run at night (e.g. daytime only service)
