The key =* is used to indicate if a portable ramp is operated by service personnel only. This is important to know for wheelchair users as they may need to adapt their travel itinerary to the service times of supervised ramps. If omitted the local convention is assumed (in Germany =yes would be assumed on railway platforms).
Usage
Add =* to an element tagged with ramp:portable=* as for example a public transport platform.
