Reference number for the Dutch railway infrastructure manager ProRail.

Example usages

This tag is used to tag the train serial number of a train route (treinserie), when the reference tag is in use for another number. For example:

  • ref=RB64, =20180: train RB64, which is treinserie 20180
  • ref=RS34, =31300: train RS34, which is treinserie 31300

The tag can also be added redundantly, when the reference tag holds the train serial number. This way someone looking for the train serial number can always look at =*.

  • ref=1100, =1100: treinserie 1100
