The =* key is used to specify which side of a way an associated feature is located, most commonly on a traffic_sign=* or highway=stop node.

Values

  • =right: An associated feature is present on the right side of the way.
  • =left: An associated feature is present on the left side of the way.
  • =both: An associated feature is present on both sides of the way.
