The =* tag is used to provide the full URL to the another website for the related feature.

It seems more websites for one feature are also tagged by a semicolon separated value list, eg. website=https://www.website1.com;https://www.website2.com.

Compare with website=* / contact:website=* which provides the full URL to the official website.

Format

Websites URL usually follow this syntax :

http(s)://(www.)domain.tld/(page)(?parameters)(#anchor), where parts in parenthesis may be optional.
