이 태그는 예배 장소에 딸리지 않은 무덤터에 씁니다.
많은 (유럽)지역에서는 amenity=grave_yard와 landuse= 사이에 차이가 있습니다. (군인 묘지나 공원묘지 같은)landuse=는 일반적으로 (교회 같은)예배 장소와 동떨어진 공간인 반면, amenity=grave_yard는 일반적으로 예배 장소의 마당입니다. 역사적으로 묘지(grave yard)는 더 오래되었으며, 현대식 묘지(cemetery)는 19세기 산업화 과정에서 생겨나기 시작했습니다.
