Proposal
When HOT and Asia Foundation representatives began a mapping project in 2013, we consulted and trained local mappers, including guiding the tagging scheme development needed to properly map local features. The OSM community in Mongolia recommends using a 'unique' value for the traditional living structure, the Ger. Since then building=ger has been used to demark these semi to sometimes permanent structures.
