The surveillance tag is for nodes and areas which are under video surveillance.

Discussion

• in banks etc. are often more than one surveillance cam, so the whole area should tagged as being under surveillance, not only each cam ...

• I'm considering new ways of looking at this. We could choose surveillance=* with * being the web address leading to the webcam. We could also choose website:webcam=*. Logictheo 10:50, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

All cameras should be tagged with all available contact information via the contact=* and operator=* tags.

surveillance	transportation		Surveillance in busses and trains to ensure the unobstructed operation of public transport.
surveillance	webcam		A private camera that is reachable via Internet. In addition contact:webcam=* should be used.
