Proposal

This proposal would approve the use of tag bus_stop:type=* and orginize the values for it. the tag is already in use is some parts of Germany. Th tag describing the geomatry of the road at the bus stop at which it is tagged in.

The tag is used on nodes tagged highway=bus_stop.

Rationale

Adding the information for various users and for planners. Diffrent geomatries such as bus_stop:type=bay can be harder for busses to approach and be a problem for disabled to board the bus, but on the other hand such geomatry does not disrupt the flow of traffic as oppose to bus_stop:type=inline.

Tagging

bulb	part of the sidewalk that portrudes outwards, usually instead of a parking lane so that the busses stay in their lane.
lane	busses stop in their lane without having to merge when stopping or continuing
parking_lane	bus stops inside the parking lane instead of parking places
terminal	part of a larger bus station with multiple bus stops
