Using a tag
rental=*describes what items can be rented at a location, following the proposal from 2010. Event though it was abandoned, it came into de facto (although limited) use.
Using a namespace
Note: There has been a DWG block[1] against a user performing mechanical edits changing rental=* to the namespace scheme.[2][3]
