A smithy or forge is a purpose-built building where a blacksmith works or used to work.
How to map
Draw the outline of the building and add building=.
If the smithy building has been converted and extended into something else, map it as a building:part=*, since not the entire building is the smithy. For converted smithies, also use building:use=*. For disused smithies, the heritage=* key is a useful combination.
If the smithy or forge is still in use as such, use the tag craft=blacksmith with its required combined tags.
