Describes a cycle lane on the right (relative to way direction) side of the road.

Use the cycleway:right:lane=* tag to set the type of the cycle lane:

Using cycleway=lane

In one-way roads without oneway:bicycle=no it may be often possible to guess side where cycleway=lane is, but using cycleway:right=* / cycleway:left=* is still a good idea.

Note also that some people consider cycleway=lane as always applying to both sides[1]
