The value sidepath is used to indicate if a cycleway (or footway) is adjacent and parallel to a street.
Usage
There are two use cases for this value.
Mostly on a sidepath
Used as footway/cycleway/path=sidepath in combination with highway=*cycleway/footway/path. The same holds true for highway=bridleway and bridleway=sidepath.
Note that the suffix :right/left/both is not being used in this case.

Rarely on the main road
Used as footway/cycleway/path:right/left/both=sidepath on a "normal" highway=*.
This tagging is used mainly by the Lübecker Methode in the form of cycleway:right/left/both=sidepath
You may use cycleway=separate instead!
