WikiProject African National Parks and Reserves

Africa's National Parks and Game Reserves are important and sustainable sources of foreign currency, jobs and upliftment in many countries on the continent. Outside of South Africa, protected areas have hardly been mapped on OSM making it very difficult for tourists and travel operators to navigate and review these areas before travelling to them.

Africa is a vast continent so mapping all of its protected areas is no small featǃ Please assist in any way you can. If you are interested in contributing, please review the list of parks being mapped below.
