Æon Continuum

The Æon Continuum is the original name for the shared universe of the Trinity, Aberrant, and Adventure! game lines, published between 1997 and 2002 and using the Revised Storyteller System.

For most of the five-year lifetime of the Continuum, the setting had no name. It was only in the TU: Adventure! Rulebook Buy it from DriveThruRPG! -- one of the final printed books in the Continuum -- that the Æon Continuum name was finally given to it. It's the only book in which this name appears, so didn't really catch on, with fans continuing to use unofficial names they'd been using, such as the "Æonverse" or "Trinityverse."

In 2004, with the release of the d20 edition, came a new name and new branding right from the outset: the Trinity Universe.

While technically "Æon Continuum" refers to the Storyteller version and "Trinity Universe" to the d20 version, here on the Wiki we've elected to standardize the use of "Trinity Universe" to refer to all the White Wolf-produced books for the line.

In 2012, the setting was sold to Onyx Path Publishing. As "Trinity Universe" was, by this time, also in use by a PlayStation game, Onyx Path took elements from both previous names and rebranded the setting as the Trinity Continuum.
