Administrator

The Administrator, for lack of an official name, is a supernatural being of unknown nature involved in the running of the Warren Whalen Mental Asylum.

Overview

One of a group of beings that the patient Angie describes as "the administration for us... and for you", the Administrator is the only individual known. It is described as being shadowy and too tall to fit the corridor. Its voice is described as being thin and high-pitched but androgynous.

Rather humorously, it seems to have much the same kind of work life as the regular hospital staff, with the same kinds of deadlines and excessive workload.
