Adversaries

The Adversaries were a faction of Unchained Inquisitors active after the fall of Constantinople to Mehmed II in 1453 and the God-Machine's subsequent retreat from the city. The group believed that said retreat had occurred primarily due to the actions of the Unchained, whose machinations disrupted the Machine's plans enough that it decided to cut its losses and strike at the demons from outside Constantinople.

This faction primarily focused on investigating strange occurrences within the city and those demons who suborned or created Infrastructure. They considered the Architects sect of Tempters a group of interest.
