Aeon (VTM)

Aeon is a Gnostic term which the Followers of Set use to refer to "false" gods--that is, all gods other than Set. In Setite lore, the Aeons take on many other guises but ultimately serve Ra/God; their goal is to enslave humankind, reducing them to a state of senseless obedience. By stoking people's vices, and thus their passions, Followers of Set believe they are opposing the plans of the Aeons and ensuring humankind's liberty.
