Alexandra Ruthven
Alexandra Ruthven is an eighth generation Toreador residing in New York. She is the sire of Lily, who had been searching for her since her disappearance three years prior to Christof Romuald's awakening from torpor in 1999.
History
Alexandra was forced by Orsi to paint a blood portrait of Vukodlak. When Christof's coterie finds the portrait, Lily recognizes the palette as that of her sire's. When they locate her, she is quite drained of blood, and mistakes them for Vukodlak's lackeys. When she recognizes Lily, she is initially dismayed, assuming that she, too was captured by Orsi. She is extremely distraught because of Vukodlak's planned awakening. Fending off attacks from Orsi's goons, Christof and his coterie take the portrait and enter Orsi's factory.
