Altay Massacre

The Altay Massacre was a large scale killing of the Masters of the Sons of Tengri orchestrated by the Russian Technocracy in 1982. Though the Craft has strict prohibitions against having two or more Sons in the same building at anytime, the enforcement of this rule had lapsed and in the light of Technocracy pressures the Masters of the Craft met to discuss what could be done, unwittingly opening themselves up to many being killed, leaving few Tengri Masters alive now. Much oral wisdom was lost, such as the purpose of several dormant nodes on the High Steppe of Mongolia. The Craft is still mourning the loss of so much wisdom.
