Arbina, the Sheltering Maple

Arbina, the Sheltering Maple is a Plant Kami Host which can take on human form and has sap that possesses healing properties. She exacts vengeance on those who deliberately despoil the wilderness and is helpful to Garou who ask her politely for assistance.

Overview

Arbina is more than a century old and shows no signs of rot or blight yet. Though she has not walked the earth in the last 20 years, she has seen the growing turmoil in the Umbra cause d by the appearance of Anthelios and is considering taking on human form once again to do what she can to respond to its threat. She believes that the Garou may hold the key to fighting the red star, but she is reluctant to place herself in their debt.

Arbina is a large maple tree with broad limbs and a wide-spreading crown of leaves. She makes her home in the Piedmont region of South Carolina where she provides shelter for small animals and numerous species of birds.
