Artemis (CTL)

Artemis is a True Fae who is known to have been active during the time of the Web of Seven, sending Loyalists out to burn down her temple and destroy the writing on the foot of the Statue of Zeus.

Overview

It is unknown whether the Gentry inspired the goddess or if she merely appropriated the role for her own purposes. Unsurprisingly, changelings at the time, particularly those who revered the goddess before being taken, were more inclined to believe the latter.

This Stranger is noted to be unusually kind to those who follow her, permitting them to leave so long as they Pledge to return to her realm, a forested region that commonly produces Dryads.

One of the Other’s few weaknesses is that she and her Huntsman doppelgänger, Cerynitis, cannot be awake simultaneously.
