Associate (Assamite)

Associate is a term used by the Assamite scholars to describe a capable member of the Sorcerer or Vizier Castes.

Overview

An associate has shown himself capable of exerting suffcient discipline and dedication to achieve the mortal equivalent of a doctoral degree in his chosen feld. A blood magician must have mastered all but the most advanced demands of his primary path (Level Four and at least two Level Four rituals), while an academic must be capable of passing a formal examination at a university selected by his elders (a rating of 4 in the Ability that is the character’s primary feld of study, with appropriate specialties, should they be used in the chronicle, preferably with ratings of 3 in two or more other Abilities that directly complement the primary one).
