Badr (Lasombra)
Badr was an 8th generation Lasombra, the Sultan of Granada, during the Dark Ages.
Biography
Badr was the martially inclined Cainite ruler of Granada and an important figure among the Ashirra. She used shadow manipulation to give herself appearance of greater size and might, as well as to keep her gender a secret. Many believed that she was an eunuch, but none suspected that she was actually a woman.
Badr was a protector of her Muslim beliefs against Christian assaults to their territories in Andalus and therefore a staunch rival of Ambrosio Luis Monçada and his ilk. After the Reconquista, many of the Ashirra rallied to her cause as she advocated a counterattack against Christendom.
Her stance has restored the morale of Granada's vampires, but also attracted the attention of Christian zealots like the Lions of Rodrigo, who have targeted her for an assassination. Badr's fate is unknown.
