Barabbus
A barabbus (plural barabbi) is a mage who has turned to the Nephandi.
Compare to widderslainte: mages whose Avatars were permanently stained by the Nephandi in a past life, often dooming them to join the Nephandi in each subsequent reincarnation.
Barabbi are named for the Biblical murderer Barabbus, who was released by Pilate instead of Jesus.
