Bernardino de Sahagun
Bernardino de Sahagun is a Celestial Chorus Mage.
Biography
It was decided that at least a few of the Chorus should come with the settlers that followed Cortes into Tenochtitlan. There were many of the Cabal of Pure Thought already going, and as the need to hide was great, Bernardino was elected. The Order of Reason wanted to destroy everything. They almost succeeded in their plans.
Bernardino was appalled from the first contact with the people, as they did not fit the stories of vile monsters that he had heard about. But there was something in the city, something that was truly evil. But every time he tried to find it, it would hide itself again. Bernardino was called a great man by the Sleepers, simply because he took the time to learn the language of the Aztecs and took the time to transition into their society.
Bernardino has been around for 600 years, changing his body a dozen times. He has seen the Sabbat Kindred, the Black Spiral Dancers and has spent most of his life trying to stop the foul things from destroying the people he has come to love.
Image
Sahagun is a pudgy Hispanic man, apparently in his late fifties… at least, at the present time. His eyes are blue and filled with remorse for things that might have been. Sahagun's skin is mottled from too many hours in the sun, and his features are all but hidden in the wrinkles of his skin.
