Black-Eyed Kids

The Black-Eyed Kids are a type of Horror that approaches adults, asking for help taking them home or requesting access to a phone.

Overview

“ Please ma'am, we just need to come in for a moment to use your phone. You needn't be afraid. We're just little children. ”

In truth the larval form of another Horror, the Men in Black, the Black-Eyed Kids were scattered from one of their brood nests (or whatever it is that spawns them) in an accident some years back. Unfortunately, they and their adult form both give off an aura of menace, and the larval form cannot turn it off. As such, any attempt to convince a mortal to help them is almost necessarily doomed to failure, with the mortal fleeing.

No one has ever yet agreed, and stories circulating on the Internet assume that those who agree are killed or worse, rendering it increasingly unlikely that the Black-Eyed Kids will ever succeed.

Appearance

This Horror takes on the appearance of various children, aged seven to thirteen. They only ever appear in groups, usually of two or three. They are all pale and have, as their name would suggest, purely black eyes, lacking any discernible sclera, iris, or pupil.
