Blooding (VTM)

Blooding is a term used by vampires in many different contexts.

The Black Hand

Among Black Hand members, The Blooding is an informal ritual used to initiate a member of the Sabbat into full member of the Black Hand.

Salubri

Among the Salubri, the ritual known as The Blooding, takes the form of a sacred oath that consecrates a Salubri as a member of the Warrior Caste. The Salubri will be given an angelic name to indicate their purpose in their path. The blooding also granted special powers; however, with the effective extermination of the Warrior Caste, the Code of Samiel was lost, the Salubri Antitribu of the modern age show no knowledge of it.
