Churntide
Churntide is the ruling spirit of the domain known as the Hungry Undertow. It is the spirit of a whirlpool that rests over a dark trench. The spirit appears in the form of said whirlpool. Its edges are ringed with coral teeth, and an eye sits at the center of its vortex.
A cruel ruler, Churntide acts as a god presiding over the masses of lesser spirits caught in its vortex. These victims must provide their ruler Essence, lest they be consumed.
