Companions of the Oaken Cudgel
The Companions of the Oaken Cudgel are an order of warriors within House Daireann.
Overview

It's true that Conchobhair ap Daireann was adept with the sword but his most underestimated weapon was his oaken staff hewn from a single oak tree's hear and standing over 7 feet in length. Some even say that it was shod in iron. In memory of him, the House holds close a group of oathbound fae calling themselves the Companions of the Oaken Cudgel. Members are only admitted by invitation and they must prove themselves masters of three weapons, one of them being the cudgel. Most importantly, though, they must be model followers of the Three Laws of Conchobhair, holding Honor highest of all. An invitation to join is quite a privilege and no one has ever been known to turn it down.
