Crown and Flame
The Crown and Flame is a faction of the Knights of the Red Branch who support the claim of Regent Morwen ap Gwydion as High Queen.
Overview
Those who bear the symbol of the crown and flame on their shield or emblazoned on their armor uphold the claim of David Ardry's sister Morwen to the throne of Concordia. They believe that she should hold the throne in her own right and not as Regent for the High King's appointed heir, Princess Lenore. They deny outright any claim that Queen Faerilyth might have and the most outspoken of them call for the expulsion of Sir Lleu Ardwyad, David's cousin and close friend who was supposed to be guarding the King, from the Red Branch, claiming that his support of the Queen amounts to treason. Many among the Crown and Flame are obviously of House Gwydion.
