Degeneration
Degeneration is the loss of Morality or Humanity. Degeneration can be a source of intense psychic trauma, and as such is often accompanied by the acquisition of new or more extreme derangements.
In the Revised Storytelling System used in Chronicles of Darkness games from The God-Machine Chronicle onward, the systems of Morality and degeneration are replaced with Integrity and breaking points.
