Denial of Aphrodite's Favor is a Combination Discipline between Dominate level 3 and Fortitude level 3.

Overview

Developed centuries ago, this power protects the Ventrue from the skills at which they and the Toreador excel. While the powers of Presence may be more subtle than those of Dominate, they are no less effective. Denial of Aphrodite's Favor allows the Ventrue to protect himself from emotional manipulation with the same efficacy that his generation affords him against Dominate.

System

Once learned, this power negates the effects of Presence (levels 1 to 3), when used by Kindred of higher generation than the user of the power. It costs 20 experience points to learn this power.

Trivia

A modern, more potent form of this combo is called Lucinde's Revenge.
