Dieter Kotlar

Dieter Kotlar is a 7th generation Nazi Brujah, member of the Final Reich gang. He was a Primogen of Berlin under the rule of Gustav Breidenstein. After Gustav's demise, his whereabouts are unknown.

Biography

Dieter was born after the end of the World War I in Germany, when food was scarce and his mother had better things to do than tending to her child – a situation that forced him to grow up fast. He was dealing in the black markets in order to sustain himself and acting as a bodyguard against the criminals that tried to plunder when the Nazi Party arose.

Kotlar immediately joined the Nazis and turned into one of the most passionate orators of the party, soliciting votes and beating down those who would oppose them. His passion affected an Italian Brujah known as Isabella Correlli. His Embrace was brutal, for she tore out his throat while Dieter fought desperately against her – laughing and calling him weak, she mocked the way he fought her, but as his helplessness enraged him, she decided to give him eternal life.

When World War II began, Kotlar followed the Wehrmacht into Poland, slaughtering many he deemed unworthy to live. When Germany lost the war, he returned to Berlin, embittered and determined to preserve the Third Reich. He then became a staunch supporter of Prince Gustav Breidenstein (a former Nazi enthusiast), who in turn granted him the rank of Primogen, while Dieter used the group known as the "Final Reich" in order to keep alive his promise to Germany and retain the beliefs of Adolf Hitler.

Dieter does not like his fellow primogen Henry Jekyll, and is adamant in his hatred against foreign kindred and kine alike.

Character Sheet

Note: Dieter has developed an especially effective combat technique. When in hand-to-hand combat, his body will flush all over, and any attacks he makes cause aggravated wounds. This costs him a Blood Point each turn, but if the target fails a Willpower roll, pain incapacitates her for the next turn.

Trivia

Dieter Kotlar is named as "Kreiger" in Berlin by Night. That is most likely a misspelling of "Krieger", a term that means warrior, brave, combatant, fighter, or veteran soldier.
