When the Mirrorskin that once was Don Sarno attempted to retake his old life, the fetch knew he was coming. He and his buddies beat the Darkling half to death before putting a bullet in his skull. Now, Don Sarno can feel the fae taint everywhere, and his desperation is heightened by his now-withering body — for the fae magic that gave him life is fading with his counterpart’s death. He and his friends play at being hunters, killing changelings they come across.
