Dr. Spencer
Dr. Spencer is a Project Odyssey Fomori. He appears in Rage.
Biography
As a boy, Marcus Spencer loved animals. He sat for hours studying almost every type he could find and enjoyed trying to influence and predict their behavior. As the years went by, he found that he had a gift for anticipating animal behavior. He went on to study animal psychology, and eventually Dr. Marcus Spencer became a leading animal behavior specialist. Although he enjoyed his work, he found it somewhat boring; latent psychic powers took all the thrill out of his efforts.
Then Dr. Spencer heard of Project Odyssey, or rather its backers heard of him and approached him with a job offer. They promised the opportunity to study a whole new species, one thought to be legendary. Marcus was skeptical, but since he had the distinct impression that this was his only opportunity, he joined Project Odyssey.
Marcus was surprised to learn that his employers' promises were genuine. The werewolves he now experiments on are indeed the most fascinating creatures he has ever encountered. Sometimes they even defy his psychic abilities (which Project Odyssey has enhanced even further). Marcus has learned that even though he may be aware of a werewolf's possible actions, he is unable to predict exactly which will be carried out. Anticipating Garou thoughts has become his new calling.
