Edward (CTL)
Edward was a modestly wealthy changeling who immigrated to London from New York during Victorian times, eventually settling into the middle class.
Overview
Brother of an American woman named Beatrice, the two had family in London in the form of their "cousin" William and his wife Elizabeth, with whom Edward stayed on arrival before getting his affairs in order; in truth, William was no true blood relation, having been fooled into thinking the two siblings to be children of his late uncle.
Seeming to be an exploratory sort, Edward was struck by the beauty of the British landscape and the myriad dreams that litter the city, the latter of which seemed to generate enough Glamour as to be tangible.
At some point during his stay, Edward became acquainted with a Darkling named Sir Thomas, who drew him into the darker side of the city; while in an opium den, Edward felt something malevolent watching him, a presence that would come to follow him whenever he left his home.
When Elizabeth and William ceased to respond to inquiries, the changeling began to fear that the presence had killed them and would soon come for him. Edward warned Beatrice not to come to England.
