Frenar

Frenar is an Balam Feline.

Biography

Frenar was born in the jungles of the Amazon River Valley and, as is the case with many Bastet, was raised by Kinfolk before being taught the ways of his race. During his youth, he became fascinated with humans and studied villages who lived along the river, as well as the occasional stranger who traveled upriver from unknown lands. Indeed, Frenar still sits and watches the ebb and flow of humanity, but since the War of the Apocalypse has come to his home, his observation is now dedicated to gathering information rather than satisfying curiosity.

Frenar's vanity and fascination with humans had led to the development of habits that amuse other Bastet. When in Crinos, Glabro and Homid forms, Frenar enjoys wearing a large black jacket that he found, and he smokes. He believes these manners heighten his allure and allow him to pass among humans unnoticed.

Frenar is frustrated by the Garou who have come uninvited to the Amazon to fight a war that he believes is not theirs. From tome to time he has stood beside Garou packs not only to fight the Wyrm but also to keep an eye on the invaders. He looks forward to an end to the War, anticipating the departure of the Garou. In the meantime, he uses the War to gain a name for himself and prove that he is a warrior worthy of Gaia.

In his feline form, Frenar is a sleek jaguar. His human form is that of a long-haired native South American, but one without tribal markings. He has a taste for unusual clothing.
