Gary Pilcher
Gary Pilcher was a staff member of Bishopsgate who was fired for supposedly suspect conduct regarding the patient Sadie Brown.
Overview
Unlike many of his colleagues, Pilcher either believed Brown when she came to him with a story of creatures she called the Hounds that had been chasing her or was willing to entertain her beliefs. Brown came to him and a patient named Nathan Sodagi with a plan to use some of her soiled feminine products to draw away the beasts with the scent of her blood. He agreed to do so.
Unfortunately, the other staff became aware of that agreement. They were not willing to entertain thoughts of the supernatural and assumed instead that Pilcher and Sodagi were behaving predatorially toward Brown, despite the patient's insistence otherwise. The staff member was, unsurprisingly, fired, while the patient was discharged.
