John H. Steele

John Steele is an author who has contributed a number of novels and short stories to White Wolf, many under the pen name Gherbod Fleming^[1] (named for an 11th-century Flemish nobleman).

With Stewart Wieck, he was the co-editor and co-architect of the entire Clan Novel Saga; as a result, every book in the series contains some material that was at least partially written by John,^[2] although he is the credited author (under the Gherbod Fleming nom de plume) on only five books in the series. Additionally, both John Steele and Gherbod Fleming were interviewed in the introduction to the fourth and final Clan Novel Saga compilation, End Games.
