Golden Sickle
The Golden Sickle is a Secret Society of Kithain Nobles who want to acquire earthly wealth and power.
Overview
An organization of Modernist nobles, both commoner and sidhe, the Golden Sickle is interested in the acquisition of earthly wealth and power. Members of this cabal often live in penthouse apartments on the tops of skyscrapers instead of stately manors, use cellular phones instead of couriers, and play the stock market (very well). They aren't afraid of modern technology, but tend to be more Banality-laden than other fae because of their time with it. Like the Cat's Cradle, they make alliances where they wish and have contacts amongst the Prodigals. They are especially known to deal with the Glass Walkers and the Virtual Adepts. They also have many contacts within the business world and the government.
The Golden Sickle is a loosely knit group at best. Its members trade information and make individual deals with each other but do not speak with one voice. Members may be of any kith, court or political impulse. Recently the Sickle seems to be working more deliberately. Whether this is a long-term pattern or merely a temporary thing is unknown. Members of this organization are typically heavily guarded by both fae and human (kinain) operatives.
