Hunts-at-Night is a Ragabash Black Spiral Dancer.

Biography

There is not now and has never been anything in Hunts-at-Night's life but the hunt. He has no use for community; though he shares his kills, it is only instinct that motivates him to do so. He pads silently thought the labyrinthine Black Spiral Dancer Hive that is his home, a colorless terror, a ghost, and he for the most part never acknowledges others. He never accepts or seems to need help. He sleeps. He kills. He eats. This seems to be enough.

In spite of his antisocial behavior, Hunts-at-Night has gained much renown as a Black Spiral Dancer assassin. Pups whisper his name and stalk each other, often beating each other brutally in arguments about who gets to "be" Hunts-at-Night. Lower-rank Dancers watch him walk and try to move as he does. And many seek to join him, to touch greatness, to be his packmates. Still, he hunts alone in the darkness of night, and he never fails.

A ghostly albino wolf who seldom sees the sun, Hunts-at-Night rarely if ever speaks. He watches. He listens. He is there, then he is not. When he returns, it is usually with blood on his muzzle and claws and a meal of fresh meat to regurgitate and share with his Hive-mates.
