Item:Remington M700P

As the Bach's 700P name implies, this weapon is used by Grünfeld Bach. In the base version of the game, it cannot be used by the player, despite having full player-facing descriptions. If you added the gun to your inventory using the console, vendors would sell the HV Rounds for it. This all suggests it was intended for player use, but was cut for time. The gun was restored for player use in the Plus patch:

Remington M700P is a ranged weapon in VTM: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines , with a 10x zoom scope.

This is a standard tactical rifle most commonly employed by SWAT teams. It features a 10x scope to pick beads of sweat off the target's forehead. It has to be reloaded after each shot.

The Remington M700P fires .308 High Velocity Rounds:

A .308 Winchester Match King rifle round for precise sniping with Remington rifles.

Background Information

• In Basic, the name and model of the ammunition is identical to that of the Jaime Sue. In Plus, the coloration of the bullets has been altered to make them more easily distinguishable.
• The object was originally unavailable to the player, but Mercurio had dialog indicating it was available to be purchased, so Unofficial Patch creator Dan Upright restored it. DDLullu and _xMAX_ made further alterations for usability.^[1]
