Item:Library Card

The Library Card is a key found in VTM: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines . It's not found in the base game, but was restored for the Plus version of the Unofficial Patch.

This card gives you access to the LA public library computers.

This card can be found inside a book in the east room of the ground floor of the Library, and is used to unlock a computer in the maintenance room behind the west art gallery.

Background Information

• Bloodlines has a limit on number of objects, so anytime anything is added, it has to replace an existing object. Bloodlines shipped with item_w_claws_protean4, which seemed to be a variant of the claw attack used at higher levels of Protean. The "weapon" was unused in the final product. The Plus version of the Unofficial Patch used the object for the library card in the restored Public Library map.
• The card belongs to Los Angeles Executive Everett Mann, who shares their name with Dr. Everett Mann, a physician with the SCP Foundation.
  • Everett Mann's name also appears on a sticky note inside the bathroom at the Last Round.
  • The SCP Foundation was first created in 2008, so either Mann's name is a coincidence, or it was added at a later date by one of the Unofficial Patch developers.
