Item:Museum Front Door Keys

The Museum Front Door Keys are used in VTM: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines . They're exclusive to the Plus version of the Unofficial Patch, and are used to gain access to the Museum of Natural History. They're provided by Sebastian LaCroix as part of the Patron of the Ancient Arts quest.

These are the keys to the front door of the Museum of Natural History.

Background Information

• Bloodlines’ original intent was to provide access to the Museum front door. In the base game, LaCroix says "Here are the keys to the front door of the museum. The sarcophagus should be in an examination room of some sort. There's a small security staff on site, but I don't want a massacre. Mortals are just as easy to deceive as they are to kill." The PC replies some variation of "I'm ready to go, but not through the front door. No keys." However, once the sarcophagus is discovered to be missing, the Prince immediately blames Gary, because he's the one who provided the museum keys. The keys are not necessarily a major plot point, but they are a direct reason for moving the plot along.
• Therefore, the museum front door keys were restored for the Plus version of the Unofficial Patch, as well as an extended museum map covering the museum's exterior and some of the surrounding streets.
