Item:Wallet

The Wallet is an item in VTM: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines given to all PCs by default. It is permanent and cannot be removed in normal gameplay. It serves as an inventory item where you can check to see how much money you have on-hand.

In addition to displaying the amount of money you have available, the item description will update based on that amount of money:

$0:

Your wallet is empty, baby. You're so broke, you can't even afford to pay attention.

From $1 to $49:

The thin, faded cash in your wallet won't get you far.

From $50 to $999:

Looks like you've got a wallet set for a night on the town.

$1000 and above:

Your bulging wallet makes you the undead Rockefeller.

Background Information

• The wallet model contains a Visa and two CitiBank cards.
• John D. Rockefeller is widely considered the wealthiest American of all time. His personal net worth in 1913 was $900 million, which is equivalent to $24.7 billion in 2021 dollars.
