Johnson P. Donnovan

Johnson P. Donovan is a Seventh Generation member. He appears in Rage.

Biography

Johnson grew up in an average suburban family, but as the youngest and smallest of his siblings, he took more than his fair share of abuse. His size kept him from participating in what his father considered "manly" sports, which only served to alienate him further.

At school, Johnson adapted to yet another hostile environment, learning that being small and looking innocent had its advantages. Who, he realized would suspect that nice Donnovan boy of stealing the final exam right off the teacher's desk? Before long Johnson became known as a source for almost any kind of illicit good. Sure, items came at a price, and sometimes prices were high, but he was the one taking all the risks. Besides, Donnovan provided the best.

Johnson entered the "business" world right after high school graduation and quickly moved up the ladder of success. His rise was so quick, in fact, that he was noticed and approached by an organization, the Seventh Generation, the depths of which he did not even begin to understand. At first, Johnson refused; his "acquisition" business was booming, and he saw no reason to sell out to anyone. At least, that was how he felt until an event which became known among his peers as "The Chicken Head Incident." The complete fiasco really wasn't his doing, but the sharks Johnson swam with didn't care. They were quick to discredit him regardless of circumstances. After all, in the "business" world, anything that can be used to discredit the competition will be used: "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen," as the adage goes.

That's a lesson Johnson had to learn the hard way, and as he slowly rebuilds his reputation, that's a lesson he teaches others. And now, with the assistance of the Seventh Generation, he's one hell of a teacher.

Johnson is a short man of average build who smokes too much, drinks too much and really doesn't care if people approve of him. At least he is always well-dressed; he prefers silks and leather to cotton and polyesters.
